Create an insight to share

Increase your team's understanding with a weekly update, a report on lessons learned, or a roadmap primer

Updated over a week ago

Insights are where you can go deep with analysis and reporting β€” for the benefit of both your team and your wider company. Like a shared doc or an internal blog post, an insight is perfect for a weekly metrics dispatch, a post-mortem analysis of an experiment, or any other longer-form document.

How to create an insight

  1. Navigate to Insights

Click on Insights in the left navigation.

  2. Create a new insight

Click + Add insight in the top-right corner. Give your insight a clear title.

  3. Add a highlight / preview copy

Craft a teaser sentence with a little more detail to encourage people to click through.

  4. Write the body of your insight

Use Panobi's rich formatting to write your long-form piece. Break up long blocks of text with bold headers, highlights, quotes, and images. Link to projects.

  5. Add a header image

A header image increases engagement and can help to illustrate your points β€” this is the main image at the top of your insight, which also appears in the smaller list view. Click to upload one from your computer.

  6. Add tags and team

If you've customized your tags and teams in Settings, you can now select relevant tags and designate the team associated with this insight. Later on, these labels will help with filtering and searching.

  7. Add collaborators

Who contributed to this insight? Tag any teammates involved in the analysis and writing.
