Connect your Slack instance with your Panobi workspace to keep everyone in the loop. You'll get to choose a Slack channel where Panobi will automatically post team-wide updates and reminders — like when projects go live or end — with nicely designed unfurls. You'll also get DM notifications about events that pertain to you or need your input.
How to connect Slack and Panobi:
Navigate to Settings
Click on Settings in the left navigation, and then click on Integrations under your workspace name.
Open the Slack integration
Find Slack in the list of available integrations, and select it. Navigate to the Configuration tab.
Connect with Slack
Click Connect and then follow the instructions for authorizing Panobi to post in your Slack workspace.
Finish configuring
Click Set channel and type the name of the channel where you’d like Panobi to post updates for your team. Then click Authenticate below that, so you can also get direct notifications when you’re mentioned in Panobi.
You’re all set! If you ever need to change the channel selection, de-authenticate, or remove the Slack integration, the Configuration tab in your settings is the place to do it.

Yes, if more than one team at your company has a Panobi workspace, both teams can push their Panobi updates to a single Slack workspace.

Can I send Panobi notifications into a private channel?
Yes — however, first you must add the Panobi app to that channel by clicking into the channel header in Slack, finding the Integrations tab, and clicking the button to add an app. After Panobi has been added, you can configure the private channel in your Panobi integration settings for Slack.

In order to receive mention notifications, you need to authenticate your Slack account with Panobi. Go to your Panobi integration settings, click on Slack, click "Authenticate", and follow the prompts to connect your account.
