Troubleshooting your Statsig integration
Updated over a week ago

Whether you're running into a problem during set-up or while trying to use feature flags in Panobi, find and click on your issue in the table below to learn how to resolve it.

๐Ÿ’ก Don't forget to check Statsig's status page to make sure the issue isn't due to a service interruption.

Issue

Description

You get an error after clicking "Connect" during configuration.

Projects aren't changing status in Panobi even when the flag states change.

You can't see your flag in the feature flag dropdown.

Your feature flag has an error icon next to it and a tooltip saying "flag not found."

Your Panobi integration settings show an error on the Statsig integration, or you see a Statsig error in your feature flag dropdown.

There's no workspace or environment displaying in your Panobi settings for the Statsig integration.

You can't complete connection

If you're having trouble authorizing the connection between Panobi and Statsig, one of the following issues might be going on.

  • Invalid API key

Check your Statsig settings to make sure the key is still listed as active.

  • API key doesn't match the value in Statsig

You'll need to re-copy the key for authorization; find the key in Statsig and click the eye icon to copy it again. Then go to your Panobi Integration Settings and select Statsig. On the Configuration tab, click "Edit" and paste in the API key. You'll also need to return to the Statsig page and copy your project ID from the URL.

  • Incorrect API key type

The API key must be a Console key; if a different key type was configured, it will result in an error. Try reconfiguring an API key in the correct type.

Your projects aren't changing status

If your projects aren't changing status in Panobi even when the flag states change, see if either of the following seems to be the problem.

  • Disconnected integration

If the Statsig integration has been disconnected, you'll need to return to your Panobi Integration Settings and select Statsig. Click "Connect" and follow the instructions to integrate again.

  • Integration can't access flag update

If your Statsig integration has been reconfigured to point to a different project or environment, then Statsig flags that were previously connected will no longer receive updates. You can reconfigure the project or environment, or you can choose a new feature flag for the project.

Your feature flag isn't showing up in Panobi

If you can't see your flag in the feature flag dropdown, it might resolve on its own soon, or there might be a problem to address.

  • Normal delay

If a feature flag was recently created in Statsig, it can take up to 10 minutes for it to show up in your Panobi feature flag dropdown.

  • Flag has been deleted from Statsig

Check Statsig to make sure your expected feature flag hasn't been deleted.

  • Integration is incorrectly configured

If the wrong project and/or environment have been selected, you may not see your expected feature flag. Go to your Panobi Integration Settings, select Statsig, and make sure you've configured the correct project and environment.

Your feature flag is showing up but there's a problem with it

If you can see your flag in the dropdown, but it has an error icon next to it and a tooltip explaining that it can't be found, here's what might be going on:

  • Deleted flag

If the feature flag was deleted in Statsig, Panobi will no longer be able to connect with it. You'll need to choose another flag or recreate the deleted one.

  • Disconnected integration

If the Statsig integration has been disconnected, you'll need to reconnect it in order to select valid Statsig feature flags.

  • Integration is incorrectly configured

If the project or environment has been modified, then Panobi may no longer have access to the selected flag. Choose a new flag or change the project or environment back to their previous settings.

You're getting an integration error

If your Panobi integration settings show an error on the Statsig integration, or you see a Statsig error in your feature flag dropdown, there are several potential issues.

  • Integration has been disconnected

Go to your Panobi Integration Settings, select Statsig, and click "Connect" to start the integration process again.

  • Statsig service interruption

Check Statsig's status page to make sure the issue isn't due to a service interruption.

  • Integration authorization problem

If the API key has been reset or deleted, you'll need to create a new key in Statsig and reconfigure the integration.

  • Integration access problem

If changes have been made to the Statsig project or environment that result in the integration configuration failing, you will need to check in Statsig for the correct project and environment, and update your configuration in Panobi.

You can't see Statsig details in your Panobi settings

If there's no project or environment displaying in your Panobi settings for the Statsig integration, then something may have gone wrong in the loading of your page.

  • Loading issue

Try reloading Panobi to resolve a problem with what's displaying.
