Tips on saving time through Panobi's auto-generated Weekly Updates

Updated over a week ago

Typically, C-suite stakeholders are very interested in what’s going on in Growth, but they lack the day-to-day context that comes from being on the ground with the team. This is why one of the biggest drains on a growth leader’s time can come from compiling reports to spread the hard-earned understanding and data collected by their team.

✨ Automated reports make it easy to update the whole company on growth work.

Every week, Panobi will automatically generate an editable update that lists recently completed, wrapped-up, or upcoming projects, along with week-over-week changes to metrics.

📂 Find your automated report

You can find the editable draft of any unpublished automated report in your insight drafts folder. Navigate to Insights in the left-hand navigation, and then find your drafts on the right. Your generated update will mention in the title which week it’s reporting on.

Any team member who is considered a collaborator on the listed projects or metrics will also be considered a collaborator on the automated report — and Panobi will notify each collaborator when the new draft is available. Since automated reports are fully editable, you can add or remove collaborators.

✏️ Edit your automated report

Click on the automated report in your drafts folder. It will open up into an editor view, and you can change anything about it, from the title or subtitle to which projects or metrics are mentioned. Panobi’s rich formatting lets you give your reports personality and polish, while also making them clearer and easier to read.

Any member of your team who has editor permissions will be able to edit the automated report.

📅 Keep a reliable cadence

Panobi generates a new report every Friday morning at 9am in your workspace’s timezone. Weekly updates are a helpful frequency for preventing important information from slipping through the cracks. We recommend reviewing and editing the report in order to send later that day or on Monday of the following week, depending on what works best for your team.

🪄 Share reports (that stay up-to-date)

After you hit Publish on your automated (and edited) report, Panobi will notify your teammates about the new update via the Activity email and their Activity feeds. If you’ve connected your workspace with Slack and configured a channel for updates, Panobi will post there about the newly published insight, too. Then sit back and enjoy the fact that your report doesn't feature stale screenshots, but instead links to the actual projects and live metrics. ✨
